Chris has been painting since he was a toddler and began his career drawing power rangers and covers of comic books. He usually can always be found covered in paint. Born and raised in South Jersey he left home to attend The University of The Arts in Philadelphia. He started his career in construction while traveling the country setting up art shows, designing clothing, and tattooing in multiple cities including Philadelphia, New York City, Atlantic City, and Los Angeles. His audacious mind lend him to San Diego where he spent the last few years gathering artistic inspiration. He moved to Jacksonville to be closer to his grandmother.
Soon after he met Katrina and knew that Jacksonville would be his forever home. Katrina has always had an eye for style and design. She started remodeling furniture at an early age when she became obsessed with turning everything pink. Born in the small town of Eden, New York, Katrina left home with big dreams and an optimistic mind in search of something bigger. She attended The University of Tampa where she learned the ins and outs of running a successful business.
With Chris’s artistic and construction background and Katrina’s business and style knowledge together they formed Ford Family Finishes.
